The disgraced rock star Gary Glitter could face death by firing squad after he was accused of having sex with a girl aged 12 in Vietnam. [glow=red,2,300](this would solve Keighley's "Grooming"problem.)[/glow]

Sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old regardless of whether there is consent is considered rape under Vietnamese law, with a maximum penalty of death before a firing squad. "Obscene acts with a child" can lead to up to 12 years in prison.
Two girls, aged 12 and 18, told police they had sex with the former singer - real name Paul Francis Gadd - at his rented home in the southern coastal resort of Vung Tau, to which he moved in March. There were conflicting reports over whether the second girl had turned 18, the age of consent in Vietnam. The 61-year-old former singer was arrested on Saturday at Tan Son Nhatinternational airport in Ho Chi Minh City as he tried to leave the country. He left his home a week ago amid allegations about his relationships with two teenage girls. continued.................

I would like to see the death penalty re~introduced in this country, This would certainly make the Asian groomers think twice before abusing our young, gullible and underage girls, this could perhaps be dealt with slightly differently to the murder penalty. The groomers should be hung up in a public place by their public parts for the world to see and left to die a slow and lingering death....if that makes me barbaric, then so be it.

I would like to see the death penalty introduced for drug dealers whatever their creed or colour.

I would like to see the death penalty introduced for murder, where no doubt exists as to the guilt of the offender.

The moral attitude taken by the minority of do gooders in our society the politically correct brigade who are against capital punishment is in stark contrast to the majority of the people who would like to see capital punishment brought back.

We must take action and we must take that action now, before the whole of our society becomes accepting of the increasing daily deaths in our communities.

I do not want to see these people doing life....that is absolutely no deterrent, they live the life of "RILEY" in our hotels SORRY prisons. With every luxury that can be imagined.

The announcement, yesterday, by Tory leadership hopeful David Davis that he opposes the restoration of capital punishment even for the worst premeditated murders is another sign of the terminal liberalism of the dying Conservative party. Left-wing Tory David Cameron has, of course, already made his opposition to the ultimate deterrent and real justice crystal clear.

As a result, whoever wins the Tory leadership squabble, the party itself will be seen to have lurched further towards the flabby liberal-left consensus that has denied the British people any effective truly democratic choice in general elections for a generation.

This latest betrayal of traditional Conservative principles by the Tories does, however, help to clarify the choice for decent, hard-working, tax-paying right-wing voters: Either the pink, fluffy, Utterly Useless Tories, or the practical, forthright, Politically Incorrect BNP.

Widespread agreement

In the end, it's a simple matter of letting democracy do its work: Even before the latest shootings in Bradford, in which a woman PC was fatally wounded, more than two-thirds of all British electors wanted the restoration of capital punishment as an option for judges in cases of premeditated murder. Add in the BNP policy that convictions should only attract the death penalty if supported by incontrovertible DNA evidence and the figure in favour of executing child-killers, sex murderers, those who kill in the course of robbery, terrorists and other vermin, rises even further.

By what right do 650-odd MPs frustrate the wishes of nearly nine out ten British voters? Because the Tories, LibDems and Labour party have carved up power between themselves, and agree to agree on most of the really important issues. If you, like us, are sick of being ignored by the old politicians, then you can help by getting involved and helping us to get rid of them. ;D

A groomer is a groomer white, black green or yellow......MAKE THEM THINK TWICE.....yes if after doing the crime, then the punishment would swiftly follow.
Not sure that I have read anywhere about white men grooming children, it may happen BUT no press which is unusual. Certainly in the case of Paul Gadd (G Glitter) I hope he is dealt with by the firing squad. He deserves it.
If he were in England he would be languishing in solitary confinement with every luxury at his side.

Recent disclosures, in the mass media, that West Yorkshire Police are seeking three Somali Muslim men in connection with the appalling murder of WPC Benhenivsky only adds weight to the demand published earlier this week in the South Devon press by Torbay British National Party stalwart and school governor, Tony North, that the death penalty should be restored for murder.

In the wake of the fatal shooting of a police officer in Bradford we will be subjected, no doubt, to the usual responses from our politicians, the BBC and senior (politically motivated) police officers: the fear of crime is the problem ... crime is falling.

This is a lie. The true answer is available in the House of Commons library (Research paper 99/111/ page 15). It reads: "Since the 1960s the homicide rate has more than doubled". The actual figures are given: 1960, 6.2 homicides per million population; 1997, 14.1 homicides per million population.

It is simply untenable to deny this rise is mainly due to the abolition of the death penalty.

It is quite clear our politicians value their "liberal" consciences far more than the lives of the people they are elected to represent.

Mori polls taken over the last 24 years show an average 75 per cent of people in favour of the death penalty.

It rises to 82 per cent for child killers.

Those found guilty of murder are currently sentenced to "life imprisonment". Some get out in three or four years. While locked up they can watch football on Sky TV, smoke dope and receive porn magazines (it's their human right apparently).

This is not a deterrent. The rope is. It should be brought back providing sufficient safeguards are in place such as DNA testing.

An alternative viewpoint.

However not everyone, it appears, shares Tony’s views. Three days after the appearance of his letter, a letter from a person assumed to be of a liberal disposition wrote in. This letter reads:

Tony North misuses statistics in the usual BNP way (Your View, November 23). He asserts that the fall in crime is a lie put about by the BBC, the police and politicians. Can he justify that statement?

The fact is that crime has indeed been falling for 10 years under Conservative and Labour governments.

It is true however, that violent crime (including murder) is rising. This proves only that people resort to violence more easily than they used to.

To bring back the death penalty is not the answer. To kill in cold blood is murder, and execution, even by the state, is still to kill in cold blood.

Getting an executioner to do your dirty work for you is no excuse and those who support the death penalty would be morally guilty of murder.

Crime is falling is it?

The second letter of course starts off with the gratuitous insult that “Tony North misuses statistics in the usual BNP way”, a comment that the writer makes not the slightest effort to justify.

He then uses the standard “The fact is that crime has indeed been falling for 10 years under Conservative and Labour governments” when in fact the truth is that “the reporting of crime has been falling for 10 years under Conservative and Labour governments” – something altogether different and entirely supportive of Tony’s point of view.

The respondent’s final comment “Getting an executioner to do your dirty work for you is no excuse and those who support the death penalty would be morally guilty of murder.” is, of course, precisely what one would expect from a liberal, and one reason, we would suggest, that we find ourselves in the situation that we currently do!
